Bred in dark jungles of Southeast Asia, Pradal Serey is a devastating striking art of bone shattering kicks and punches. This ancient fighting art of the mysterious Angkor Empire, some argue that it’s the forefather of modern Muay Thai. It’s little known outside Cambodia’s borders. From gritty urban fighting pits to the sweltering jungles of the north, hosts Jason Chambers and Bill Duff, journey into the heart of Pradal Serey to perfect the vicious strikes of this brutal martial art. Along the way they’ll race water buffalo against natives in a 1000 year old village festival and learn the ancient killing techniques of Khmer warriors. Their journey culminates when they enter the ring to battle it out against a 4 time Pradal Serey champion. In the ultimate search for a HUMAN WEAPON, mixed martial artist Jason Chambers and football pro Bill Duff put their bodies on the line as they train in the most lethal forms of combat before going toe-to-toe with masters of each fighting style.

@ravagingturkey1 you wouldnt be able to get a good explanation over the internet because the differences(theres probably hundreds)could only be understood by someone who understands both styles. this applies to several comparisons, you will never find 2 identical styles but if the focus is the same you have to learn both styles to understand the difference

@azn0180
Pol Pot didn’t kill Bokator, it nearly does, and only made it hard for it to be internationalized like other arts of other countries which had peace. Bokato still alive in the old masters and the new students. There are at least 5 masters in their late 70s and 80s now you can find on youtube participating in Cambodia’s preserving and documentation of the part.
