knuckle strike does not work also if the attacker is bear hugging you very tightly realistically how much force can you hit the hand with?

so some of you think that knuckle strike don’t hurt OR work?! i tried this on myself and it took less than five of those knuckle strikes done relatively hard that within half an hour the top my hand was soo swollen i could barely move my fingers!. try it a few times like he instructed and find out!.

Weak and lame bear hug. Looks more like foreplay.

I have a question ….I’ve been studying aikido from the line of Saotome Sensei for a while and I’m tired of these drills of one finger, and these silly things instead of focusing more on the real aspects of self defense…is all Aikido like that or is just the school I am practicing? Thanks!

@becs512 If your being dragged you know you can trip people over even if their behind you just stick your leg back and it’ll work.

Never work in real life if you are being grabbed for real and dragged…….
Not in a million years….

But this isn’t a proper bear hug. The bear is done at elbow level and the victim is lifted and thrown to the ground. This counter wouldn’t work.

Wouldn’t it be better to stay away from the gaybar in the first place?

Hmm, might be better without all that text obscuring the video. Tried toggling the Transcript button, but that didn’t get rid of it.

@thegeneral1942 Oh and one more thing, I wasn’t entirely correct in my previous post, if you still think Aikido is useless, watch this /watch?v=PSgRWPjBfVc
or, if you want hard evidence, /watch?v=F3NmaYu2Kvc
