Top Reasons To Try Martial Arts

Top Reasons To Try Martial Arts

Article by Javier Lozano, Jr.

Just about everyone knows about the popular martial arts, such as Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Kung Fu and Tai Chi…some people have even thought about trying out a class. Bt have you ever actually done it? Do you need a reason?

Just about everyone has thought about taking up a martial art at some point in time. Maybe as another way to stay in shape. Possibly as a means to protect yourself from the school bully. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of reasons why people choose to take up an art, but I want to take a second to outline what I feel are the most important reasons to at least try a martial art. Maybe it’s for yourself, maybe it’s for your children…whatever the reason, all martial arts contain a unique wealth of knowledge and discipline that you simply can’t get anywhere else. My hope is that this article will inspire you to get out of your chair and into a school to see what martial arts is all about.

Self ConfidenceAs you train in martial arts, you will notice a lot if improvements, such as your physique, balance, awareness, flexibility, and many other physical and mental characteristics. Martial Arts will teach you how to combine these capabilities and use them to succeed in competitions, attaining higher belts, building friendships and protecting yourself if necessary. The more you can do, the more confident you will be.

Self DefenseOne of the most common reasons to study martial arts is to learn how to defend one’s self. A number of schools may dedicate class time and/or offer a scheduled class that strictly goes over self defense tactics. Also, depending on the MA style or school, self defense can be a large part of the curriculum, which can be beneficial to those interested in “applicable arts” (arts you can use in everyday life) as opposed to “traditional arts”.

Self DisciplineWebster defines self-discipline as the “correction or regulation of oneself for the sake of improvement”. Whether it be trying to make a high school team or meeting company deadlines, once you learn the focus necessary to succeed in Martial Arts you can apply it to the rest of your life. Success is mental, and Martial Arts will teach you the self discipline necessary to succeed at anything you put your mind to.

CoordinationMartial arts does require a lot of hand, foot, eye, and mental coordination, but all of this is developed over time. If you consider yourself as an uncoordinated person, training in the martial arts will help you grow those skills. You’ll be amazed what your body is capable of doing! Even if you are a natural athlete, standing on one foot, while kicking with the other, and blocking with your hands is quite difficult and involves coordination.

FitnessMartial Arts does not have to focus only on fighting or self defense as some styles are based more on fitness. Tae Bo and Tai Chi are two examples of this. However, those with an interest in the fighting & self-defense aspects of Martial arts will find their fitness levels quicly increasing as training not only develops various muscle groups, but flexibility and balance as well. One’s level of fitness can be just as important in winning a match as one’s skills and abilities.

Family EnjoymentMost people don’t know that this is an excellent way to spend time together with your family! Some martial art schools allow families to train together and others separate classes by age groups. Regardless of how classes are segregated, families find themselves enjoying the time spent together. It is not unheard of having a family all test together for various ranks and black belts.

Meet New People – Martial Arts is for everyone…Many martial art schools structure their classes into three age groups: Kids – usually ranging from about 5 to 11 years old, Teens – 12 to about 16 or 17, and Adults – usually starts at 18, but some schools make exceptions when necessary. Some schools also offer a “Little Dragons” program geared towards the 4 – 6 year old crowd. Age groups are then broken down into belt ranks allowing you to train with people that are relatively of equal skills and age. Often times people who begin martial arts together will develop a bonding friendship and even obtainin their black belts at the same time because they pushed one another during their tuff times.

Remember that there are thousands of martial art styles. Chances are there is a style and a school perfect for you no matter what your reasons are for trying it out. If you’re interested in finding one near you, visit http://www.experiencemartialarts.com. You’ll find more information about martial arts as well as a list of schools in your area.

Getting A Kick Out Of Different Martial Arts, Part 1

Getting A Kick Out Of Different Martial Arts, Part 1

Article by Adrian Adams

Martial arts are a sport that combines a variety of different methods of combat. In some cases, martial arts are used only for use, in other cases; martial arts are used in head-to-head combat, in generally controlled situations, such as matches or shows. Because martial arts includes a variety of different styles, it is normal when a person thinks of martial arts, that they think of one specific types, for example, karate.

However, there is more to martial arts than just karaoke. For instance, Karate is a stand up style of the art, in which Kung Fu, San Shou, Tae Kwon Do, Wushu, Kray Maga, Kickboxing, and Boxing also belong. When focusing on styles such as these, also known as stand u styles, blocking, kicking, and punching are the foremost focus when it comes to these forms of martial arts.

Another style of the martial arts is called grappling or ground fighting. These are forms of wrestling, that includes the martial art practices of Greco-Roman wrestling, Sambo, Shoot fighting, Shooto, and Brazilian Jujitsu.

Yet another style is what is called throwing styles, in which an opponent attempts to unbalance the other by using means of locks, trips, or throws. Within this style, arts such as Hapkido, Shuai Jiao, Aikido, and Judo reside.

For weapons based martial arts, these are arts performed using weapons, and for the most part are only used during cultural and traditional displays, though Kali is still used as an effort of self-defense and combat. Arts within this category include Kendo, Lado, and Kali.

Not all martial art styles are used for combative purposes today, even if they were originally designed for that purpose. Now, many are instead used for exercise, relief of stress, internal energy, and breathing. Some of these meditative or low impact styles include the arts of Chi Gong, Ba Gua, and Tai Chi.

Practicing Martial Arts May Help to Prevent Bruising

Practicing Martial Arts May Help to Prevent Bruising

Article by Carolyn Cooper

When you decide that you want to get in shape with a feeling of confidence and in control, this is an excellent opportunity for you to be considering beginning a martial arts regimen. Regardless of which type of discipline or school that you elect to follow, you will discover that practicing martial arts can also help alleviate your tendency toward easy bruising to some extent. It would be a reasonable bet to assume that martial arts might cause a few extra bruises, but depending on which martial art style you select, it also might not. Examine the choices that you have to can make.

First, there are a few ways that martial arts in general will help you avoid bruising. For instance, most martial arts are considered aerobic activities; as your cardiovascular health goes up, your blood vessels will become much tougher, and they will be less inclined to break or to allow blood to well to the surface, creating bruises.

If you are interested in getting your metabolism levels higher, martial arts are just the ticket, while at the same time causing you to break into a sweat. Heightened metabolism levels will aid your body’s ability to heal itself quickly, and your sweating is causing your body to relieve your system of impurities, which would otherwise be occupying your immune system. This higher metabolic rate and sweating both contribute towards your bruises healing more quickly.

Martial arts classes will also teach you how to fall. One of the first lessons that many schools will get into will show you how to fall without hurting yourself or bruising.

Do keep in mind, however, that when it comes to martial arts, you are also going to have to worry about getting new bruises as well. This will not be something that is true across the board; there are many different disciplines out there that will tell you all about how to best go about enjoying physical and mental health, and some of these schools do not involve physical contact at all.

The styles to be wary of are any martial arts styles that concentrate on combat tournaments, where the combat is the central focus. Even though some schools don’t necessarily focus on tournament preparation, you should know that there are certain disciplines that are based on full contact. The Korean martial art, Tae Kwon Do, with its emphasis on kicks and striking falls under this proposal, as does Jujitsu, which is a Japanese style based on grappling.

Tai Chi is also a style of martial arts, and if you look into Tai Chi classes you will discover that the concentration is on flexibility instead of combat, which would make it an excellent choice because many of these classes contain no contact of any sort. Depending on the style and teaching methods, Aikido can be relatively gentle form to investigate, because the redirection of force rather than the absorption of force are the guiding principles.

Take some time to consider if martial arts might fit into your plan to help reduce your bruising. Also remember that there is a great daily program built around the unique, all natural supplement Bruises Be Banned which can help overcome your easy bruising and help you prevent bruising altogether. If you are going to take up a high impact sport like the martial arts, you should definitely consider having some of this proven supplement formulation in your bag.

Kids Martial Arts Can Guide With Attitude

Kids Martial Arts Can Guide With Attitude

Article by Stewadt Delmonte

For many folks, especially some who are not familiar with kung fu the question often arises on what the difference between martial arts or kung fucan be. Upon seeing somebody doing various moves, the untrained eye can find it circular to tell which style that person is doing. Even those who are beginners may sometimes make confused about the different styles until further exposure to us will reveal just how different they really are.

Historically, the persons living in and out the islands of Okinawa just south of Japan got exposed to chinese kung fu due to the close proximity to China. Over time, the Okinawans or chinese developed their own styles known as kung fu from the original influence of Chinese styles. Although both utilize many similar techniques, most martial arts styles can usually have more variety of techniques compared to kung fu systems. It’s almost recommend the american streamlined the number of techniques from korean systems to develop karate. The Japanese also modified the way techniques are executed in and out martial arts as your friends became more linear. this is especially evident in and out the forms and katas (traditional sequence of set moves) where martial arts techniques are performed with martial arts movements that have distinct stop or go motions.

in martial arts forms, movements involve the use of more hard techniques, particularly with the punches . These easy motions give these forms a more visually graceful look as techniques seem to flow from one to another. here can be less stop or go with most korean styles. this is why those martial artists, especially in North America, often refer to kung fu as ‘soft’ styles while kung fu and tae kwon do are ‘hard’ styles. this is not to say that soft styles such as karate and tae kwon do are more powerful martial arts than soft styles. The term ‘soft’ can be a bit misleading also the power from easy moves is often hidden. easy moves will generate just as much power as linear ones found out easy styles. Most kung fu forms are furthermore usually more complex and longer in and out duration than most martial arts forms.

To most, a soft style be can look much more exotic while a karate make can look more straight forward in terms of techniques. Interestingly enough, right here are karate styles such as goju which do have quite a lot of circular techniques. Kempo styles are considered a hybrid of korean and Okinawan techniques with both circular as well as linear techniques. here are furthermore many more different styles of karate compared to karate.

Martial arts weaponry can be found out both kung fuor karate styles but different sets of weapons are utilized out each system. Much recommend the empty hand forms, the awesome exercise with kung fu weapons are furthermore more linear compared to those with kung fu weapons which have more easy movements. As expected, right here can be a lot more variety of different chinese weapons than found in and out the american kung fu styles.

Traditionally, practitioners of martial arts wear a blue uniform called a gi which features the overlapping gi like top. Less traditional schools like those in and out North America attempt to allow colored uniforms. A blue belt can be the finishing touch to the gi with of course the black belt for some at instructor level ranking. Most of the time and especially inside an academy studio, karate stylists will not wear any shoes while classes.

Bruce Lee ” the father of mixed martial arts”

Bruce Lee ” the father of mixed martial arts”

Article by Reycarl Thompson

Bruce Lee

born Lee Jun-fan; 27 November 1940 – 20 July 1973

was a Chinese American and Hong Kong actor, martial arts instructor, philosopher, film director, film producer, screenwriter, and founder of the Jeet Kune Do martial arts movement. He is considered one of the most influential martial artists of the 20th century, and a cultural icon.Lee was born in San Francisco, California in the United States, to parents of Hong Kong heritage but raised in Hong Kong until his late teens. Upon reaching the age of 18, Lee emigrated to the United States to claim his U.S. Citizenship and receive his higher education. It was during this time he began teaching martial arts, which soon led to film and television roles. His Hong Kong and Hollywood-produced films elevated the traditional Hong Kong martial arts film to a new level of popularity and acclaim, and sparked a major surge of interest in Chinese martial arts in the West in the 1970s. The direction and tone of his films changed and influenced martial arts and martial arts films in Hong Kong and the rest of the world as well. He is noted for his roles in five feature-length films, Lo Wei’s The Big Boss (1971) and Fist of Fury (1972); Way of the Dragon (1972), directed and written by Lee; Warner Brothers’ Enter the Dragon (1973), directed by Robert Clouse; and The Game of Death (1978), directed by Robert Clouse posthumously.

Lee became an iconic figure known throughout the world and remains very popular among Asian audience and in particular among the Chinese, as he portrayed Chinese nationalism through his films.

While Lee initially trained in Wing Chun, he later rejected well-defined martial art styles, favouring instead to utilise useful techniques from various sources in the spirit of his personal martial arts philosophy he dubbed Jeet Kune Do (The Way of the Intercepting Fist).

Wing Chun

he largest influence on Lee’s martial arts development was his study of Wing Chun. Lee began training in Wing Chun at the age of 13 under the Wing Chun teacher Yip Man in 1954, after losing a fight with rival gang members. Yip’s regular classes generally consisted of the forms practice, chi sao (sticking hands) drills, wooden dummy techniques, and free-sparring.There was no set pattern to the classes.Yip tried to keep his students from fighting in the street gangs of Hong Kong by encouraging them to fight in organised competitions.

After a year into his Wing Chun training, most of Yip Man’s other students refused to train with Lee after they learnt of his ancestry (his mother was of half-German ancestry) as the Chinese generally were against teaching their martial arts techniques to non-Asians.

Lee’s sparring partner, Hawkins Cheung states, “Probably fewer than six people in the whole Wing Chun clan were personally taught, or even partly taught, by Yip Man”.However, Lee showed a keen interest in Wing Chun, and continued to train privately with Yip Man and Wong Shun Leung in 1955.[

Jun Fan Gung Fu

Lee began teaching martial arts in the United States in 1959. He called what he taught Jun Fan Gung Fu (literally Bruce Lee’s Kung Fu). It was basically his approach to Wing Chun.

Lee taught friends he met in Seattle, starting with Judo practitioner Jesse Glover, who later became his first assistant instructor. Lee opened his first martial arts school, named the Lee Jun Fan Gung Fu Institute, in Seattle.

Lee dropped out of college in the spring of 1964 and moved to Oakland to live with James Yimm Lee (???). James Lee was twenty years senior to Bruce Lee and a well known Chinese martial artist in the area. Together, they founded the second Jun Fan martial art studio in Oakland. James Lee was also responsible for introducing Bruce Lee to Ed Parker, royalty of the U.S. martial arts world and organiser of the Long Beach International Karate Championships at which Bruce Lee was later “discovered” by Hollywood.

Jeet Kune Do

is a hybrid martial arts system and life philosophy founded by world renowned martial artist Bruce Lee in 1967 with direct, non classical and straightforward movements. The system works on the use of different ‘tools’ for different situations.hese situations are broken down into ranges (Kicking, Punching, Trapping and Grappling), with techniques flowing smoothly between them. It is referred to as a “style without style”. Unlike more traditional martial arts, Jeet Kune Do is not fixed or patterned, and is a philosophy with guiding thoughts. It was named for the concept of interception, or attacking your opponent while he is about to attack. However the name Jeet Kune Do was often said by Bruce Lee to be just a name. He himself often referred to it as “The art of expressing the human body” in his writings and in interviews. Through his studies Bruce came to see that styles had become too rigid, and unrealistic. He called martial art competitions of the day “Dry land swimming”. He believed that combat was spontaneous, and that a martial artist cannot predict it, only react to it, and that a good martial artist should “Be like water” and move fluidly without hesitation. In 2004, the Bruce Lee Foundation decided to use the name Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do to refer to the martial arts system that Lee founded. “Jun Fan” was Lee’s Chinese given name, so the literal translation is “Bruce Lee’s Way of the Intercepting Fist.”

Absorbing what is useful

This is the idea that a martial artist can only learn techniques in their proper context, through a holistic approach. Styles provide more than just techniques: They also offer training methods, theories, and mental attitudes. Learning these factors allows a student to experience a system in what Lee called its “totality”. Only through learning a system completely will an artist be able to, “absorb what is useful,” and discard the remainder. Real combat training situations allow the student to learn what works, and what doesn’t. The critical point of this principle is that the choice of what to keep is based on personal experimentation with various opponents over time. It is not based on how a technique may look or feel, or how precisely the artist can mimic tradition. In the final analysis, if the technique is not beneficial in combat, it is discarded. Lee believed that only the individual could come to understand what worked; based on critical self analysis, and by, “honestly expressing oneself, without lying to oneself.”

Martial Arts Moves, What Style is Right For You?

Martial Arts Moves, What Style is Right For You?

Article by William Gabriel

Many people that do not an in-depth knowledge of multiple martial arts styles, will often decide what style to learn based solely on martial arts moves that they have seen. While this isn’t an inherently bad idea, especially if you want to learn martial arts for fun or to stay in shape, it also means that a bigger decision must first be made. Every form of martial arts has an underlying style or concept that will be reflected in all of the moves that you will learn. That means that you first need to make a decision about the overall style that you want to learn.

There are a variety of factors that you need to consider to find a style that has martial arts moves that you want to learn. If you have never done anything like this before, then one factor that you may want to consider is your age and vulnerability to injury. If, under no circumstances, you cannot sustain an injury then choosing a very low impact style is a good idea. There are three basic styles of moves: striking, grappling, and weaponry. While many forms are a combination or two or three of these styles, it is important to decide what kind of you want to focus on.

For example, if you want to use punches and kicks then striking should be an aspect that you focus on. If you prefer to learn throws and take-downs, then grappling should be your emphasis. Many people are learning different styles, not for sport, but for self defense. If this is a case, then choosing a style that allows for quick disarming and ending the fight quickly should be a priority.

With a rise is mixed martial arts, there has been a lot of controversy surrounding whether or not MMA (sport martial arts) is better for self defense On one side of the argument, sport martial arts trains you to compete for a specified length of time, whereas defense-oriented martial art forms want to help you end the fight as quickly as possible. While sport martial arts is growing in popularity, it is not the right choice for everyone

A Quick Review

While deciding which styles to learn based upon your favorite martial arts moves is not a bad idea, it is important to consider other factors as well. The first thing to consider is how much contact you want to, or can, handle. If you are older, injury prone, or simply do not want to endure high levels of contact, then a high impact art form like kick-boxing, is probably not right for you. A second consideration is what overall skill set you want to learn. Do you want to learn how to strike, grapple, use weapons, or a combination? Just because your favorite move in a certain form of martial arts is a throw, that doesn’t mean that all you will learning is different take-downs Finally, you need to take into consideration why you want to learn martial arts.

How To Raise Your Testosterone Levels Through The Roof With The Endocrine Diet

How To Raise Your Testosterone Levels Through The Roof With The Endocrine Diet

Article by Plato Powers

It’s no secret that back in the day men had much higher testosterone levels then they do today. There simply had to be something that motivated men to hack their way through the wilderness, and assemble a civilization. If one is a fan of old photographs, it is not uncommon to find snapshots of men who barely weigh 200 lbs. picking up a train axle.

How did they do it? The answer lay in their high testosterone levels. These days, the average testosterone level of an adult male is 400-500 ng/dL (nanograms per deciliter), with the total possible range between 200-800ng/dL, barring outliers. However, these numbers are shockingly low when you realize that barely 100 years ago, the range of testosterone in adult males was 800-2000 ng/dL!

We’ve become feminized and weak as time has gone by, with society attributing testosterone levels in the range of 800-2000 ng/dL to steroid usage or a weekly injection of testosterone cypionate. The problem with steroids and testosterone cypionate, is that your body will shut down its’ natural hormone production when given the synthetic stuff. So when you come of “the juice,” your body doesn’t remember how to make testosterone and your whole system is out-of-whack. Not to mention the fact that testosterone cypionate is not produced by your system, but rather introduced into it from an external source – and therefore liable to be converted into a slew of nasty by-products including “bad estrogens.”

But why do testosterone levels keep dropping with each successive generation? There are three major factors at play here:

1. Heavy metals, pesticides, fluoride, chlorine and estrogen-mimicking chemicals are wrecking absolute havoc with the receptor sites in our endocrine systems. Just imagine a toxic monkey-wrench being thrown into the delicate machinery that is your endocrine system. It’s hard to escape these poisons, since they saturate our food, our water, and our air.

2. Instead of consuming a diet fit for a predator we are fed a diet fit for a barnyard animal. Meat and fat are maligned despite that fact that testosterone is manufactured from cholesterol, while carbs and sugars are worshiped – the worst form of this idolatry being “high-fructose corn syrup.” Refined sugar wrecks havoc on your endocrine system, and will give you diabetes as surely as smoking will give you lung cancer!

3. We are utterly STARVED for vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that are ESSENTIAL for the production of testosterone. These nutrients are: vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin D, iodine, iodide, and magnesium chloride. What’s interesting is many of these nutrients are branded as “toxic” and “dangerous,” when in fact they are not.

Now it can be argued that high-testosterone levels are simply not desired in today’s world, where we are expected to sit in cubicles for the better part of our days… where getting into a street-fight can land you in the penitentiary, and where we are expected to swallow ever-increasing affronts to our sovereignty.

Yes, high-testosterone levels are simply not desired… by our masters. ;)

With this in mind, it can be argued that men are being poisoned on purpose – as part of a conspiracy to make sure we stay little boys throughout our entire lives. Testosterone, after all, is the fuel that drives personal growth in a man, and is the source of a man’s courage.

Now before you dismiss this as “conspiracy theory,” remember that fluoride was first introduced into the water supply, in Soviet prisons, in order to keep the prisoners docile. The warden certainly had no interest in preserving the health of his inmates’ teeth!

Okay… so you’re feeling me and want to commit to living a lifestyle that allows for the highest level of testosterone possible…

But what steps should you take?

The first thing you need to do is detoxify! This is easier then you think, and doesn’t require daily enemas or anything messy like that. You also don’t have to drop 0 on a blender and start grinding up expensive organic vegetables. All you need to ingest is zeolite and MSM, an inexpensive form of sulfur.

Zeolite is a volcanic mineral with a specific lattice structure that traps all manner of toxic nonsense and removes it from your body via your urine. Lots of companies sell expensive liquid zeolite, but all the studies that were done used the powdered, micronized zeolite. One can take 1 tablespoon a day of the stuff along with 1 teaspoon of sodium ascorbate, which is buffered vitamin C.

MSM cleans out and regenerates your liver, which is important because if your liver is dirty, testosterone production is going to suffer. One can take 1 tablespoon a day of the stuff, along with 1 teaspoon of buffered vitamin C.

Now you may ask why I am including buffered vitamin C in both drinks? Buffered vitamin C is just soooo incredibly valuable with respect to testosterone production for two reasons:

1.Your adrenal glands are literally made from vitamin C, and millions of men are suffering from adrenal fatigue. This is critical, because if your adrenal glands are burned out, you will NEVER be able to produce high testosterone levels. Forget about all those supplements being peddled for your adrenal glands, just consume as much buffered C (sodium ascorbate) as you can and you will be fine.

2.You need to make friends with cholesterol because your body manufactures hormones from it, yet people are scared of it because the media has gotten people to believe that cholesterol causes clogged arteries. Let me tell you what really happens… most of the population doesn’t get enough vitamin C, so they are actually suffering from sub-clinical scurvy and don’t even know it. Your body uses vitamin C to repair your arterial walls, and when there is not enough vitamin C around, your body gets worried that your arteries may burst. So, lacking in vitamin C, it takes cholesterol and uses it like spackle on drywall to reinforce them. Sure, eventually they will clog and you will die, but it’s better to die a few years down the road from clogged arteries then to die today from ruptured arteries! See, your body is always making decisions by default that will keep you alive for as long as possible. It’s the body’s basic programming: survive and reproduce. In that order!

The thing to remember about vitamin C is that when you take too much orally, you will get diarrhea. In the beginning, given you may be utterly starved for it, you may find you can ingest up to 60 GRAMS a day of buffered C without diarrhea. But as the days go by, you will have to drop the dose to around 5-10 grams ingested over the course of the day, dependent on stress levels.

As an interesting side note, humans are simply not capable of synthesizing vitamin C and require it from external sources. Goats, when under stress, synthesize as much as 150 grams of vitamin C per day in their own bodies!

So I’m sure you can see how these 3 inexpensive powders (zeolite, MSM, sodium ascorbate) are regenerating your adrenals and liver, while detoxifying you of all those nasty chemicals that are gunking up your endocrine system.

But detoxifying yourself is one thing, you must also make sure you are not continually ingesting these poisons orally or through absorption via your skin. Both your drinking water and the water you shower/bathe in needs to be free of fluoride and chlorine. This can be done cheaply with filters on your cold water tap in the kitchen sink, and on your shower head. You can buy a triple-stage filter that removes fluoride, chlorine and everything else for under 0 and you won’t have to buy a replacement filter for at least a year. Or you could buy a photonic water restructurer for around 0 which doesn’t even use a filter. Why spend money and energy lugging around bottles of water?

Next, you have to stop eating refined sugar – especially high-fructose corn syrup! Eat meat, eggs, nuts and vegetables – especially cruciferous ones. Once again, don’t be afraid of fats. Fats make your food taste great, and fat is the only source of energy your body can completely survive on. Try living on just carbs or just proteins. You will die sooner rather then later. Try living on just fat, you will live. As you cut carbs and sugars from your diet, your body will begin to burn fat as fuel instead of carbohydrates. You’ll turn into a fat-burning machine! Here is what a typical day on our diet looks like:

BreakfastNONE. So much for that “breakfast is the most important meal of the day” nonsense. This line originated back in the day when farmers got up at 3am and worked themeselves half-to-death. When 11am came and it was time to eat breakfast, they’d already worked 8 hours and so it was the most important meal of the day. In the modern world, to eat as soon as you fall out of bed is sheer stupidity.

LunchBoneless Beef Chuck Steak/Organic Grass-Fed Beef Liver/Chuck Hamburger from Whole Foods cooked in a frying pan.

Dinner7 eggs we cooked in an egg-steamer.

If we are hungry in-between meals we eat nuts, drink blended veggies, or eat salads.

How simple is that? On Sunday I go to a BierGaarden and eat some french fries, drink some beer and maybe have a marzipan-filled chocolate bar. I’m of German ancestry, and cannot help myself. :)

The billion-dollar-a-year diet industry is just a dance around the reality that most people are emotionally-addicted to putting food in their mouth. It makes them feel loved, reduces anxiety… why don’t you just get high testosterone levels with TONGKAT OVERLOAD so you can replace anxiety with aggression, fear with drive, and get all the love you need from a sexually satisfied woman?

So once again, to get the physique you want by building muscle and burning fat you will need to eat less food, as well as a higher quality food that feeds your endocrine system and your internal organs. Such foods are liver, brazil nuts (don’t eat too many or you may get a selenium toxicity problem), kidneys, testicles, lamb, shrimp, fish brains, green vegetables, beets, salads, cod liver oil, raw dairy, and eggs. Strive to eat as little carbs and sugar as possible but don’t feel guilty if one day a week you crave some french fries! Just eat them and then get back to your discipline!

Now let’s talk about specific nutrients that we need to supplement with in order to attain the highest testosterone level possible.

Vitamin A is critical for high testosterone production, and Vitamin D is nature’s version of an anabolic steroid. So instead of injecting testosterone cypionate and popping “D-Bol,” try ingesting as much vitamin A and D as you can. BUT BE CAREFUL!!! Most vitamin A and D supplements are SYNTHETIC. This includes many high-vitamin cod liver oils, because the companies that process and manufacture them add additional synthetic A and D and simply don’t tell anyone. Synthetic A and D is downright deadly.

NATURAL vitamin A and D has never harmed anyone, and can be taken in high amounts with no side effects except for awesome health. I’ve consumed over 50,000 IU of vitamin A and over 5,000 IU of vitamin D every day for years. The key here is to ensure that you are taking NATURAL and not SYNTHETIC vitamin A and D, and that is often difficult to determine. :(

The next thing you need to be aware of is the importance of iodine and iodide in your diet. If exhausted adrenals are at one end of your endocrine system hampering your testosterone production, then a famished thyroid gland is often at the other end.

Contrary to popular belief, iodized salt does not provide your body with what it needs. Japan, which prior to the Fukushima melt-downs had the lowest rates of cancer in the world, boasts a daily consumption of iodine at around 12mg. This is due to their high consumption of seaweeds such as Arame and Kombu. Since the nuclear disaster, these seaweeds are contaminated and I wouldn’t consume them. But there are plenty of vendors online selling Lugol’s solution that can be diluted in water and drunk on a daily basis. Lugol’s is a mixture of iodine and iodide. Your thyroid tends to prefer iodide, while the rest of your body prefers iodine. I would shoot for a lower daily dosage then the Japanese ingest, but more then the 150mcg recommended in this country.

When you ingest Lugol’s, you’ll also need to consume an organic source of selenium like Brazil nuts, or plants that contain selenium.

You will also need to consume magnesium chloride

Magnesium chloride is something we are all deficient in. Sadly, most magnesium supplements contain magnesium oxide, magnesium citrate, or magnesium malate. Your body craves the chloride. End of story. All those other magnesiums are close to worthless. The good news, is there are companies out there selling magnesium chloride for use on the skin, or in the bath. This is because you can absorb magnesium through your skin.

But a man doesn’t have time to soak in a bath! So I get the purest grade of magnesium chloride crystals or magnesium oil I can find, and dilute 1 teaspoon with 12 ounces of water and drink a “magnesium shake” once a day, every day.

Once you’ve followed the advice contained in this article, then you can add the greatest all-natural testosterone supplement there is – real Indonesian tongkat ali in 100:1 extract! The stuff has been demonstrated to raise your testosterone levels by up to 300% assuming you consume enough of the potent extract. Tongkat Overload has 800mg of 100:1 extract in every daily dose, PLUS 450 mg of magnesium chloride and 30mg of zinc picolinate. Ever heard of a ZMA formula that used REAL magnesium chloride? I didn’t think so! To round off the supplement, I’ve added 500mg of 16:1 stinging nettle extract. I’ve done this because stinging nettles contains iron phosphate, which is iron that is totally absorb-able by your body and has zero side effects. Iron is a critical and often overlooked mineral necessary for testosterone production.

So there you have it! All you need to know to get your testosterone levels back to those of the old-tyme strongmen.

What will you do with your new-found manhood? I’ll leave that up to you!
